"Best location for a visit of the center town at a really good price."
For a mere 85$/night you get a minimalist accomodations, small room but very clean and quiet. Desk clerk really helpfull and accomodating. You cannot reserve a parking place in the basement but if you check-in early, you will probably be okay. Just about 500 ft from Desjardins Complex that gives you access to subway, Place des arts and lot of shopping. Next to Chinatown and Old city. If you just want an hotel to sleep an be close to all the attractions, this is the place.
"Great value for the dollar spent."
I have read in the past, several unfavorable reviews for this hotel; so I decided to see why for myself. I must say that most if not all of them were unfounded. I arrived at the hotel in late morning, and was warmly greeted by the staff. Registration was quick and the personnel was professional and very pleasant. My room was well appointed for the price I paid and very clean and organized. I did not expect a large room with jacuzzi bathtub and all of the luxuries of a deluxe hotel, but I did get a super clean and efficient room, with coffee maker and appropriate condiments, a bathroom with a super clean shower and amenities. Breakfast (continental) was included. They do have more than a standard continental breakfast. You also had the option to order breakfast a la carte if so desire at the appropriate cost. Hallways and lobby was clean and well organized. I fond NO reason for any complaints. As a matter of fact, I am returning in February 2017. Location at approximity to the a variety of theaters, restaurants and the underground makes it great. The biggest plus is that the airport bus drops you off and will pick you up in front of the hotel. What else can one ask? Great place for the price.
The location couldn't have been more perfect. Parallel to St. Catherine, 10-min walk to the beautiful old port area, and 18-min walk to the bus station. Wonderful customer service, good (free) breakfast, good wifi, and my room was clean and up-to-date. I got more than I expected for what I paid. I'd definitely book again.
We were in a bind to find any hotel on Montreal. There must have been an event and everything was booked. We got lucky and got the studio at Travelodge. It was perfect! It was nice size and equipped for long term housing - it had pots and pans and everything you may need for a long stay. We also loved the location. Breakfast was Ok and we were glad it was included which was a pleasant surprise. I was not paying attention when booking the room and didn't realize it was part of the price. We will stay again here next time we come to Montreal.
Great hotel and terrific location just outside of Montreal's Chinatown and walking distance to the Festival Quarter. Rooms tend to the small side (mine had two twin beds) but scrupulously clean and well maintained . Would love to come back! A bientot! :)
